Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and build web features using React and TypeScript.
• Partner with product and design teams to create polished, accessible web experiences.
• Collaborate with backend, iOS, and Android engineers to maintain consistent feature behavior and data across platforms.
• Own features from technical design through launch and iteration.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code and design reviews.
• Contribute to shared web patterns and best practices as the team scales.
• Troubleshoot and resolve web application bugs, performance issues, and reliability issues.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional front-end or web engineering experience, including shipping features in a large-scale production consumer web application.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React or a comparable modern framework, including component-driven architecture, state management, and data-fetching patterns such as GraphQL.
• Experience collaborating with backend, iOS, and Android engineers to integrate APIs and maintain cross-platform consistency.
• Experience delivering features from technical design through launch and iteration with increasing scope and independence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills and a willingness to seek and act on feedback.
• Ability to work through ambiguity on a newly formed team.
• Understanding of web performance, accessibility including WCAG, responsive design, and CI/deployment practices for a large-scale consumer site.
