Receptionist

The Receptionist will greet visitors and maintain visitor logs, answer and correctly routes calls. Responds to internal and external inquiries and distributes accurate information to guests.

LOCATION: North Billerica, MA 01862
POSITION: Contract
SCHEDULE: 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F
PAY RATE: $22.00 hour


Key Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, clients, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain visitor sign-in logs and assist with facility security procedures.
• Issue visitor badges, passes, and related access credentials as required.
• Answer, screen, and accurately route incoming phone calls.
• Respond to general inquiries and provide information to employees, customers, and guests.
• Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms and conference space.
• Arrange transportation, deliveries, and visitor accommodations when needed.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
• Prepare outgoing mail and shipments.
• Perform general administrative and clerical support duties, including filing, data entry, and document management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
• Support additional office operations as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or higher
• 1 to 2 years of receptionist, front desk, or administrative support experience.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Must be able to complete required pre-employment screening.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Additional administrative training or professional certifications are a plus.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
