Taylor Hospitality is hiring a Housekeeping / Room Attendant to join our team at the newly renovated Tygart Hotel in downtown Elkins, WV. Compensation: Starting pay of $12.00 per hour What You'll Be Doing: As a Housekeeping / Room Attendant, you'll play a vital role in creating a positive guest experience. You’ll be responsible for:

• Cleaning and restocking guest rooms to brand standards
• Making beds, replacing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms
• Dusting, vacuuming, and maintaining cleanliness throughout rooms and hallways
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items
• Responding to guest requests and ensuring high satisfaction
• Restocking your housekeeping cart and assisting with inventories
• Collaborating with the housekeeping supervisor and team to meet daily goals

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: No formal education required. Previous housekeeping experience is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
• Skills: Attention to detail, reliability, and time management. Must be able to meet room-cleaning quotas and follow safety protocols.
• Communication: Basic English skills to read instructions and communicate with team members and guests.
• Able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable bending, kneeling, standing, and moving for extended periods
• Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely (training provided)
• Must wear assigned uniform and name tag during shifts
