Call Center Representative

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid)

Schedule: Rotating 8-hour shifts between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent experience in healthcare customer service, health insurance, managed care, or a healthcare call center environment
• Experience handling high-volume inbound calls
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Reliable high-speed internet for remote work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and assist members with health insurance-related inquiries
• Support customers through the enrollment process
• Process requests such as ID card replacements, provider changes, and demographic updates
• Research and resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner
• Accurately document customer interactions
• Meet quality, productivity, and customer service goals
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer information

Work Environment

• Hybrid schedule with only 2 in-office days per month after training
• Initial training conducted onsite
• Must be local to the Austin area
• Occasional rotating weekend coverage

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
